If you are a professional alum, you know that getting through high school and college is a lot easier with some extra support.

We’re building a network of alumni mentoring programs to help you help the younger you

The valuable exposure to a mentor can help a student be ready for college and know how best to prepare for a career. Become an alumni mentor to give a current public school student all of the advice you might wish you had when you were in high school.

By applying to become a mentor, you will be matched with an underserved high school student for one-on-one mentoring so that you can share the things you wish you had known before you became an alum.

Applicants must:

  • have completed their undergraduate college career
  • be able to meet their mentee in the five boroughs of New York City
  • commit to meeting their mentee in person at least four hours a month
  • be eager to support an underserved public high school student
